Stay & Play Group
A friendly weekly session for parents, carers and little ones
Our Stay and Play group is for parents and carers to meet together with their children in the Pre-School environment or garden. The group provides an opportunity for children aged 0–5 years to experience a setting outside of home, develop social awareness and independence, and enjoy time with others. It’s also a chance for parents and carers to meet and connect.
Held on Wednesdays during term time, the session runs from 9.45am to 11.30am. We meet at Pre-School between 9.30 and 9.45, then take a short stroll through the village to the Pre-School garden. Each week includes lively music, songs, and play with instruments, alongside plenty of time for free exploration.
As the session takes place during a normal Pre-School day, your child will have access to all the activities and resources available. While children remain under your supervision, our experienced and qualified staff are on hand to assist, lead group games or activities, and support children in following their own play interests.
Children are offered a drink and a snack at snack time, while parents and carers can enjoy tea or coffee (please bring a lidded cup for hot drinks).
A contribution of £5 per family is payable on the day.
